Context
The service has no web interface at all: everything, from sign-up to account deletion, happens in a conversation with AI agents. That made security and privacy the core of the design, since every message is untrusted input.
What was built
- A prompt-injection filter in front of the chat: an LLM guardrail plus a pattern score, before any agent sees the message
- Two agents, one for guests (sign up, log in) and one for signed-in users (topics, delivery hour, tier, account deletion), each action being a workflow the agent calls as a tool
- Sign-up with a 6-digit code sent by email, valid 5 minutes and checked with a signed token, so the code is never stored
- User data encrypted at rest, with the email also stored as a keyed hash so users can be found without decrypting anything, and GDPR deletion from the chat
- An hourly newsletter: web search on each user's topics, written by Mistral in HTML and sent by email, with a free tier and a premium tier (deeper search, larger model, custom tone and format)
