GeoEmploi
A job board where the search starts from the map, built in one week for a demanding (fictional) ministry: government maps only, your location shared only if you agree and never more precisely than your town, fully usable without JavaScript, and everything self-hosted.

Context
One-week Epitech seminar built around a client brief: the "Ministère du Job et Bonheur" wants a job board with strict public-sector rules. Maps must come from the French government's IGN (OpenStreetMap is banned), geolocation needs explicit and revocable consent and stays at town level, an accessible version must work without JavaScript (RGAA), exports use Lambert-93 coordinates, and nothing may run on a cloud provider.
What was built
- Map-first search over IGN tiles, served through our own caching proxy, with a keyboard-friendly list as the no-JavaScript fallback
- Three roles: job seekers apply in one click and manage their profile, employers publish offers once an admin has verified them and accept or reject candidates, admins moderate reported offers and follow national metrics
- Privacy by design: opt-in geolocation that can be revoked at any time, an audit log of consent, GDPR data export and self-service account deletion
- Admin CSV exports with Lambert-93 coordinates, and in-app notifications for new candidates and decisions
- One-command install with Docker Compose (app, PostgreSQL, Redis, scheduler), and a CI pipeline that builds and smoke-tests a release image
